Dessert before dinner?

Finally, someone gets it; you can eat dessert anytime of the day. At least that is what I am lead to believe after visiting Denver’s best (only) new decadent dessert bar and lounge, Crave.
Crave Dessert Bar and Lounge sits on the corner of 14th and Champa, in the new highflying Lead Silver Certified condo building, Spire Tower. At first glance the bar jumps out as another trendy snobbish establishment normal people would avoid.
You know, the kind of people that wear Levi jeans and plain tee-shirts still. They rent their movies from a kiosk and shop at regular grocery stores. Often they do these things at the same time.
Let me assure you normal people, Crave is not like that at all. The staff makes you feel famous with their wit and desserts.
Crave’s desserts are a marvelous mixture of presentation and flavor that makes you feel tingly while you’re eating it. I had the Chocolate, Chocolate, and the Medjool Date Sticky Toffee Cake… and yes I top it off with a cinnamon infused coco, curiously called the Mexican Hot Chocolate. You will also be happy to know, that while I was there sampling the desserts and drink, I took a poll and only one person drove a Toyota Prius.
Long story short, Crave is a place where you can go to sit, eat dessert and drink… profusely. Its trendiness is normal person approved. It is open from early in the morning until all the way into the late night. They offer a collection of brilliantly crafted desserts to quick and happy pastries. Crave now offers Novo Coffee (not a fan), Cappuccino, amazing hot chocolates, and of course alcohol. So lush it up people!
Crave has my vote for best meeting spot for first date, before your night begins, after a Denver show or unwinding from a long week.
The cost is excellent!
Just so you know, I prefer my desert before dinner or any meal really.
